In the year 2069, a gang in the Redmond Barrens was more or less wiped out. Damaged, but not broken, the remaining members struggle to regain their place in the Seattle underworld. But someone seems to be after one of their number, and strange events have started taking place all around them as the people known as Technomancers emerge from the woodwork and into the 6th World.
Qashara, the City of Sails, has long been an independent city, a center of trade, and a melting pot of people and cultures. But now, a greedy empire wishes to take control of Qashara's busy ports, and has sent a small group of diplomats to negotiate a takeover with one of the less scrupulous merchant Houses that rule the city. Will the Qasharan nobles negotiate a peaceful surrender of the city? Or will an aggressive move by an impulsive Emperor ravage the City of Sails in a storm of fire and blood?
